The Festival of Golf returns to Sanctuary Cove on the Gold Coast from Friday 5 – Sunday 7 March 2027, alongside the Australian WPGA Championship, taking place from 4 – 7 March 2027 at Sanctuary Cove Golf and Country Club.
In 2027, the Festival will come together in one central precinct at the entrance to the WPGA Championship, positioned between the 18th hole and the Sanctuary Cove Marine Village. Before, after or between the Championship action, the Festival of Golf is the place to be!
Featuring a range of golf and lifestyle exhibitors, interactive experiences, live entertainment, great food and drinks and family-friendly activities, there’s plenty to discover beyond the course. Nearby, Sanctuary Cove Marine Village offers even more to explore, with waterfront dining, drinks and boutique shopping.
At the centre of the week is the Australian WPGA Championship, bringing elite women’s golf back to Sanctuary Cove following Hannah Green’s victory in 2026. Co-sanctioned by the WPGA Tour of Australasia and Ladies European Tour, the Championship will see an elite field of players compete for the prestigious Karrie Webb Cup and $600,000 in prize money.
With the Festival free to attend, it’s designed to welcome everyone from passionate golfers to families, first-time fans and visitors simply looking for a fun day out on the Gold Coast.

PLAYERS PARTY
Guests kicked off the Festival of Golf in style at the Players Party at the Sanctuary Cove InterContinental Resort Lagoon Beach Club.
Attendees mingled with players, VIPs and PGA guests, enjoyed a Darren Robertson-curated BBQ, including drinks and entertainment hosted by Magdalena Roze. Highlights included a Q&A with Sarah Kemp and Kelsey Bennett, apparel gifts from Soneven and a King Island getaway draw thanks to Luxury Escapes.
